Truck Charity Café donates a phenomenal £10,000 to Time to Talk!
During Truck Festival 2024 a group of 40 volunteers at the Truck Charity Cafe made over 4,500 coffees and teas and sold nearly 1,000 delicious cakes and pastries, supplied by Yellow Submarine and Proof Social Bakehouse. This year the weather was kind so over half of the coffees sold were iced coffees! The volunteers are family and friends of all ages and they all worked incredibly hard on various shifts from 7.30am to 9.30pm.
This year’s Truck Charity Café raised the highest amount ever which is shared amongst several local charities. This year Time to Talk received a phenomenal £10,000! The weather was kind, the festival goers were thirsty and the volunteers worked their socks off!
