Newbury Racecourse 5K, 10k & half marathon in aid of Time to Talk
Over 500 runners gathered at the historic Newbury Racecourse on a humid Saturday to participate in the inaugural “Run the Racecourse” charity event. The event, organised by Run Through in support of Time to Talk West Berkshire, turned out to be a tremendous success, drawing in a diverse crowd of participants and spectators.
The racecourse, known for its thrilling horse racing events, provided a unique and scenic route for the participants of the 5k, 10k and half marathon distances.
With the success of this year’s event, plans are already in the works for making “Run the Racecourse” an annual charity run at Newbury Racecourse. Organisers hope that next year’s event will attract even more participants and further strengthen the vital work of Time to Talk West Berkshire.
