Our support for Parents/Carers
1 to 1 Counselling and Support for Parents/Carers
Counselling Sessions
Counselling is a confidential conversation with a trained professional who can help you to understand yourself and what has happened to you better and find ways forward that work for you personally.
We understand that, at times, as parents, our own unresolved issues can inadvertently influence our children or hinder the formation of positive relationships within the family. This service provides support aimed to empower parents to navigate their challenges and contribute to the creation of healthier family relationships.
Sessions will be with the same counsellor at the same time each week, for up to 12 weeks. Sessions can be delivered face to face, via telephone, or online over Teams
Parent Talks
If you are a parent of someone receiving or just about to start receiving counselling from us, we run regular information sessions, where we will explain who we are and what we do.
Plus give some information about issues you may be facing and how to support both the person having the counselling and the people around them.
Periodically we run additional face to face talks in conjuction with schools and other charities. Please look at our events page for more information.
