Leave a gift in your Will
Remember Time to Talk in your Will
This kind forward planning gesture will help us to be around as a service for future generations. Your kind generosity could help save a young person in anguish and let them get the support they need to reach their full potential and grow up to be actively engaged in society as a happy, confident and achieving adult.
Codicils
The other way to leave a gift to charity is to write a codicil, which is a document used to make changes to an existing Will. It’s used as a way to make simple amendments like adding a charity, changing a gift amount or adding an executor.
Independent legal advice
Always take independent legal advice, but some suggested standard wording as a guide only for solicitors and executors to consider is:
I give the sum of £…. and/or (all/specify fraction/% share) of the residue of my estate and/or specific item to Time to Talk West Berkshire, registered charity 1155235 of Broadway House, 4-8 The Broadway, Newbury, RG14 1BA, United Kingdom for its general charitable purposes absolutely.
