The Time to Talk West Berkshire Mental Wellbeing Conference 2025

Conference Tickets

This half-day conference is dedicated to strengthening the support systems around young people by equipping the adults in their lives with the knowledge and tools to foster resilience. By focusing on the mental health and psychological wellbeing of young people, the event will explore the importance of resilience—the ability to adapt and bounce back from adversity—and provide practical strategies for parents, teachers, healthcare professionals, counsellors, and others who play a role in young people’s lives. Through this, we aim to empower adults to better support young people in navigating the mental health challenges they face. The conference offers:

  • Informative Talks: Expert speakers will share insights into the science of resilience and its impact on mental health.
  • Interactive Workshops: Hands-on sessions offering practical tools and techniques to promote resilience in different environments, from schools to homes.
  • Networking Opportunities: Connect with like-minded individuals and organisations committed to improving youth mental health.

This will form the groundwork for continued cooperation, ensuring sustainable and community-wide approaches to improving wellbeing.

Awareness and Stigma Reduction: Raise awareness of mental health challenges and contribute to breaking down the stigma associated with seeking help. This shift is critical in encouraging early intervention and fostering a culture of openness and support.

Actionable Outcomes: Following the conference, there will be feedback surveys to show a measurable increase in attendees’ confidence in identifying and accessing mental health resources.

Delegates should leave the conference feeling empowered with practical tools, strategies, and a renewed sense of responsibility to actively contribute to building resilience in the CYP they are involved with. The focus is on collaboration, mental health, and providing resources that support sustainable development for the next generation.
