Davina Nicholson
Clinical Director
MBACP Accred. Dip Counselling. Dip Supervision

Davina left the film industry in 2003 to pursue her passion for supporting young people. After studying psychology, she qualified as a counsellor in 2005 and gained specialist training in psychodynamic, humanistic and transactional analysis counselling, as well as counselling children and young people.
Over two decades as a school counsellor, she built a reputation for helping young people overcome challenges and achieve positive long-term outcomes through her warm, authentic and approachable style.
As Clinical Director of Time to Talk West Berkshire, Davina leads the charity’s clinical services, safeguarding culture and strategic delivery of mental health support for young people. Having joined the organisation as Clinical Lead in 2013 and progressing to Clinical Director in 2024, she combines strong therapeutic expertise with leadership and organisational skills developed during her previous career as a First Assistant Director in the film industry.
She also supervises, trains and line-manages counsellors, helping to shape and develop the charity’s clinical team.
